Maar niet al het leven is met het blote oog te zien. Ontelbare micro-organismen leven in de grond, de lucht en zelfs in uw eigen huid. En ook al zijn we ons de meeste dagen niet bewust van hun aanwezigheid, toch kunnen ze <a href='https:\/\/vm6fr4whzn6.c.updraftclone.com\/nl_nl\/2024\/08\/30\/de-waarheid-aan-het-licht-brengen-emotionele-en-financiele-gevolgen-van-niet-toegestaan-werk\/'>invloed hebben op de tools waarmee we werken<\/a> met dagelijks.<\/p>\n<p>Dit is het geval bij microbiologisch be\u00efnvloede corrosie, ook wel MIC genoemd. MIC ligt ten grondslag aan veel voorkomende soorten corrosie die onze leidingen aantasten, zoals spanningscorrosie, galvanische corrosie en <a href='https:\/\/vm6fr4whzn6.c.updraftclone.com\/nl_nl\/2022\/02\/28\/hoe-putcorrosie-identificeren-en-verwijderen\/'>putcorrosie,<\/a> en veroorzaakt jaarlijks miljarden dollars aan schade. Door de algemene oorzaken van microbiologisch be\u00efnvloede corrosie te kennen, kunnen bedrijven de effecten ervan beter begrijpen en beperken.<\/p>\n<h2>Bacteri\u00ebn<\/h2>\n<p>Een van de meest voorkomende oorzaken van MIC's zijn ongetwijfeld bacteri\u00ebn. Wanneer bacteri\u00ebn op een metalen oppervlak, zoals een stalen pijp, terechtkomen, vreten ze H2-lagen weg die in het metaal aanwezig zijn. De H2-laag werkt gewoonlijk als een beschermende barri\u00e8re die de oxiderende effecten van roest vermindert. Zonder deze laag kan corrosie versnellen.<\/p>\n<p>De belangrijkste soorten bacteri\u00ebn die corrosie veroorzaken zijn:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>IJzerreducerende bacteri\u00ebn<\/li>\n<li>Zuurproducerende bacteri\u00ebn<\/li>\n<li>Zwaveloxiderende bacteri\u00ebn<\/li>\n<li>Sulfaatreducerende bacteri\u00ebn<\/li>\n<li>Mangaanoxidatiemiddelen<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Microalgen<\/h2>\n<p>Microalgen zijn recentelijk op de voorgrond van wetenschappelijk onderzoek gekomen vanwege hun potentieel als duurzame voedselbron, ingredi\u00ebnt in cosmetische producten en mogelijke bron van biobrandstof. Hoewel de voordelen van dit eencellige fytoplankton talrijk zijn, kan het ook schadelijk worden voor industri\u00eble processen door bij te dragen aan MIC.<\/p>\n<p>Wanneer microalgen zich vermenigvuldigen op een metalen oppervlak, ontstaat er een scenario dat biofouling wordt genoemd. De geproduceerde biofilm blokkeert zuurstof en cre\u00ebert een donker gebied waar bacteri\u00ebn kunnen gedijen.
